Kill Bill 3?
This is how crazy rumors get started. Tarantino tells Entertainment Weekly he’ll make a sequel to Kill Bill – in 15 years.
The star will be Vernita Green’s (Vivica A. Fox’s) daughter, Nikki (Ambrosia Kelley). I’ve already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale (Julie Dreyfus) will get all of Bill’s money. She’ll raise Nikki, who’ll take on The Bride,” he says. “Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers. I might even shoot a couple of scenes for it now so I can get the actresses while they’re this age.”
15 years? Why not just shoot it after Inglorious Bastards using a different, older, girl to play Nikki’s part when she’s all grown up? Could it be because he really doesn’t intend to make a Volume 3? That’d be my guess.

I think that KB3 would be incredible…i like the idea, and he sounds serious there talking about it, and that he’s given it quite a lot of thought. perhaps he just doesnt want to beat kill bill to death…(hah)… and he wants to wait and spark more interest in it later on…say, 15 years from now… that’d be awesome

Kill Bill 3 is not really possible although it’s a rumour but it’s not good to hear about a trilogy i mean what’s done is done like end of story. If Vernita’s daughter trying to get a revenge on The Bride that’s like the same analogy or mind we all think but after the sequel is out, just stop there. No More! Kill Bill is a good movie, so it suppose to end where it should be. I just hope Uma Thurman survives in this sequel otherwhise i might not buy the DVD of the Volume 1.

Holy run-on Batman! A visit back to the characters in 15 years would be hilarious, and also entertaining. Using the same actress that plays her daughter just shows his level of commitment, if this is all true anyway.

I haven’t seen VOL. 2 yet, or read anything about it at all other than it’s release date,(I still like the element of surprise, no spoilers for me) but right after watching VOL.1 when it came out, the idea ran in my mind for the ultimate spin-off… Nikki and The Bride’s daughter duke it out on behalf of their mothers. Nikki learns and delves into her mother’s life pre-Dr. Bell and Beatrix’s little girl for obvious reasons (her mother was “the most dangerous woman in the world” How can you top that?). Anywho, it would almost resurect the greatest (in my opinion) segment of anime, not to mention, of revenge and validation: Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren. That would be cool if Nikki models her fight for answers after learning of O-Ren’s story.

It sounds like a good idea, but I would do it differantly. I would have it be about Beatrix finishing her revenge, rescueing her daughter, than being pursued by The Sheriff. And, it could have something about Dr. Bell telling Nikki about what her mother used to be like, all that. And Jude Law could play Bill`s unknown son, or Elle`s brother.

Quint loves to throw ideas around. Every once in a while I’ll hear a completely insane idea from Quinten and it’s fun to try and figure out if it’s for real or not. I predict that in 15 yrs, Kill Bill will be a distant memory for Quinten. He’ll be caught up with different, newer stuff.

I don’t know if he’s serious or not. But it does seem like something Quentin would think of, and be committed to. Who else has taken 15 years to make a movie? If he’s serious about using the same girls from these Kill Bill movies to be in Kill Bill 3, then it seems like he’s got his heart set on something. And when Quentin has his heart set on something, you better make damn sure that he’s going to get his way.
By the way, your site rules, but shouldn’t there be information about Four Rooms… Quentin did direct the last story in that movie. [I don't know, did he write it, too?]

I love that he wants to do it when the hype clears. Even though I know the movie would be great, he’s not pulling a Matrix 3 and just shitting out movies to make money. He’s doing it when HE wants, not necessarily a time where it would be most profitable.

i really really want urma thurman to be in the third kill bill and if it really will be realesed in 15 years than that will be silly because everyone wants to see urma thurman, she is a amazing actress and she is well fit. but still it does sound like a good story for the third film i just hope he want to make it a little earlier xXx

i also just noticed about the black guy in the trailer on the vol. 1 dvd, he is never seen… who is he. also what actually happened to elle? did she die.
also was there a link or is it just me being an assuming bastard… how Budd was actually killed by a “Black Mumba” was that on purpose.

pss. i read in a few reviews and script copies about a scene about yuki’s revenge.. something about gogo’s sister. what was that about cos it wasnt in the movie (was it cut out or was i lied to)

Flip, yes in the original script, Gogo was supposed to have a sister named Yuki, but he cut it. Why? I’m not sure, but he did. Also, yes the Black Mamba was on purpose, and Elle might or might not be dead. In the end credits for Kill Bill 2, we see a “?” on her name. Oh, and Elle can’t be the trainer in Kill Bill 3, if its done. He already said he wanted Sofie to do it and Elle is blind. I hope they make a 3rd because its so crazy, only someone like QT can do it. I only worry about someone dying (in real life).

One of the most convincing aspects of a possible third installment is that daryl hanna’s characer (Elle Driver) could actually still be alive! In KB2, it’s implied that Elle’s death comes at the fangs of the snake, being beaten, blinded, and stuck in a small camper with the deadly serpent! but we don’t in fact see her die, we only see victorious Uma leave the camper with a slam of the screen door! in any conceivable third installment, elle would escape harm and look to exact revenge against The Bride. the showdown would be a maimed Bride versus a blinded Elle! if i were writing the story, i would write in the Daughter’s singing voice as the main weapon, rendering sightless hannah powerless to hear the next fighting move!!!
