Tarantino To Guest Judge on ‘Idol’
Not what I would have expected from Quentin, but he’s apparently a big American Idol fan and is going to get to be a guest judge for ‘movie theme night’. The episode was supposed to air Tuesday night, but with President Bush’s press conference, I’m not sure when its going to air.

He does know a lot about music. Just take a look at his kick ass soundtracks from Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill. Not sure if he knows much about singing though.

Think he’s pretty good friends with Simon Cowell so that’s probably how he got on, though I know he’s a fan of the show too.

It is a shame he wasted his time on a shockingly horrid show like American idol. It is a show featuring no talent fools, judged for abysmal singing by no talent idiots, and watched by an increasingly moronic public. He should go on the last good interview show, “Charlie Rose”.

Meh, everyone knows that American Idol is just some Eurovision Knock-off.
Still, the only theory why I think he actually likes this show is that he’s a pop-culture junkie. Being fans, I think we all know it’s apparent that his writing conveys this message effectively.
And let’s face it, American Idol is popular culture. Quentin with media is like a pot-head at a plantation. A kid in a candy store…

Good judging? Everyone was TEH POWER-H0USE according to the gospel of Quentin.
That moronic “Kill Cowell” joke really ruined it for me as well. It was so funny, QT had to force a laugh for the cameras. Jeez.
At least he didn’t have verbal diareeha and go droning on like a drug addict.
As for the contestents, the only good movie anyone chose was DEAD POET’S SOCIETY – Jail House Rock kid, QT called him geeky?
It was cool seeing QT but Ryan Seacrest must DIE.

To QT with love: we forgive you for Jackie Brown but if you think we will forgive you for being on American idol your pushing it. that was so not cool it wasn’t even funny. I feel sorry for you if you really do watch that show. you and ever other person over 40 that watches that show.
Sooo Not cool..
I’d keep it to my self if I watched that show, let alone go on it.
