Kill Bill 2 DVD Coming In August
The DVD for Kill Bill 2 DVD is going to be released in August. With that early of a release, I’d guess we’ll see a super-combined-with-extras edition before Christmas.

who is the black guy in the Kill Bill trailers? He’s some bald black dude in a chinese outfit, doing some fancy sword shit, but i’ve never seen him in the movie, just the trailer?

He was in a deleted scene. You know when Bill comes back from Pai Mei’s to tell Beatrix that she was accepted but he’s all beat up? The black dude did that.

Hey, it’s always good to see QT try his hand at acting. Maybe next time…
Can’t wait for that double packed dvd… hopefully, with that deleted scene of the fight between that dude and bill…

i hope the 2dvd pack will contain some escenes to understand why pai mei teach the special punch to the bride, why budd dont talk with bill and why hanzo help to destroy bill… im a little dissapointed with the volume 2 there are a lot of questions still

IronPoodle, that isnt the fight that bill gets in, thats with Pai Mei, the deleted scene was when Bill was recruiting B. You can see that the clothes Bill and B (in the background)are wearing in the deleted scene are different. OH and B is there.

But I agree with the majority opinion: I’m gonna suck it in til I get the boxed set. I didn’t even buy the vol1 DVD because obviously he still has to release a set with a lot of extras.

what about that japanese version of vol 1? i heard it’s got some cool extras, along with scenes that were shot differently. Still though, i’ll wait for the super dvd set.

In the Japanese version is the Balck/White scene of kill Bill Vol.1 with the 88 ninja’s in colour.
And oh yeah Tarantino is playing a dead body with a mask when Beatrix killed all the ninja’s he had to lay down somewhere on the ground.

the vol.2 release has the scene with michael jai white, the black guy bill fights, as an extra. Although there’s still stuff left out, like elle’s DiVA flashback

Well I’m shaking just to get my hands on the double set… Has anyone been to the japanese site for Kill Bill? It has the best trailer for Volume 2 probably ever made, I was wondering if anyone knew the URL of the trailer so I could put it on my site… seriously everyone should go check out the Japanese site if they haven’t already, it’s theme is “Kill Is Love” and it looks amazing… I REALLY need that URL if anyone knows of one, I’d be sooo happy!

I love Kill Bill, both volumes are truly spectacular. My favourite films ever. But I’m still confused…why dont bill and budd talk?

Quentin was in Vol. 2. Kind of. The voice of Pai Mei was dubbed by Tarantino. I only caught it the second time. Pay attention and you’ll hear it.
Oh, and just discovered this, he’s the voice of Jackie Brown’s answering machine in her movie.
