Kill Bill 2 DVD Soon
It sure seems to have taken a long time, but the release of the Kill Bill Volume 2 DVD is only 12 days away.
I’ve also notice some neat-looking boxed sets – one in France, and another in Japan. And then there’s this Popcorn/Zipper dust cover, which to get you actually buy the popcorn, and the cover thing is free.

I’ve preordered Kill Bill vol. 2 box set from cdwow.com so I’m looking forward to receiving it. It’s sold out now despite the fact that theres still over 2 months until it’s released.

Ok, so I’m going to buy vol.2 but when are they going to, if at all, release a two disc spoecial edition set or the whole director’s cut or what?

The one from France looks really cool! Well it’s kinda obivious i’ve observed that Quentin Tarantino is liked by french people.
I sincerely wait for a combo, Kill Bill 1 + Kill Bill 2 DVD and then i’ll buy them!

I wish that qt wouldn’t fuck around with his fans and release the ultra-deluxe special edition set from the get go, and not take advantage of a bunch of impatient fans that will buy the bare-bones, early release versions and then spend another 40 bucks on the one with all the features

French people does indeed like Tarantino, I bought four 3-disc sets and one 2-disk set on my paris-trip. Anyway, does anyone know what this is all about? – I’m reffering to the “Kill Bill Making of DVD”

I don’t quite get what your question. But from what i understand it’s a six pack… all the movies he worked on (directed or screenplay) (eliminating natural born killers where he didn’t want his name on the changed script) all in one box.

In “Pulp Fiction” Samuel L. Jackson’s character says he intends to “walk the earth, like Kain in Kung Fu” and in the original show Kung Fu, Kain was played by David Carradine who also played Bill in Kill Bill. There’s a connection between Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill.

heres the dealio…kill bill is the best movie ever…i want 2 buy it but i heard theres gonna b a mad whack double disc set with speacil features and possibly an optional colour verison of the fight with the crazy 86s does any 1 no if this is true and if so when is it coming out?? plz plz email me if u have any of the answers

Well there is also a ltd. edition boxset of 1 & 2 coming out in Japan 8th October. Which i ordered today.

But yeah i really wanted to own a copy of both films but have delayed till now hoping for news of a special edition.
But im thinking if the stand alone supplement disks im hearing about are gonna have the same features as the special editions then I may as well get them and put them alongside the Volume 1 & 2 regular releases.
Then the only way the problem arises is if there is a commentary on the special editions.
But so far other than ‘Dusk till dawn’ with Rodriguez and a scene specific pasted up commentary from interviews etc on ‘Reservoir Dogs’ Tarantino hasn’t really been up for doing commentary’s on his own films.
I can see it now though. By Xmas 2005 i could have 3 copies of volume 1 and 2. The original japanese releases, supplement disks, (and if the extras are different) kill bill 1 & 2 special editions, and Kill Bill 1 & 2 combined edit dvd.
+then they could release ultimate editions of all Tarantino’s films and release them as a box set. A never ending chain of dvd’s
