Sony Chiba DVD Collection
I was walking thru Best Buy this past weekend and noticed this Sony Chiba DVD Collection that has Kill Bill themed cover art. I didn’t buy it, but the packaging gimmick worked – it made me look twice.

I also saw that package at best buy. But for the same price at movie store in my local mall, I purchased “The 10 Faces of SONNY CHIBA” collection, which has street fighter, return of the street fighter, sister street fighter(The trilogy date from True Romance), Legend of the eight samurai, the bodyguard, street fighters last revenge, shogun’s ninja, dragon princess, samurai reincarnation, and karate warriors.

Yup, just another testament to how Best Buy is quite often not the best buy at all.

That Kill Chiba set has been out for quite a while now. I finally bought it when Kill Bill vol. 2 came out because my local Best Buy never had it in stock. The 10 Faces of Sonny Chiba is also a good set, especially for the price it’s set at.

I had been looking for Golgo 13 for months. When I saw this set I thought wow, another SOnny Chiba set packed with Street Fighters. But no! It had Golgo 13!! I bought it right away. Goglo 13 is my favorite Chiba movie. (Kill Bill is not a Chiba movie by the way but a movie with CHiba in it.)
The Executioners aint bad either.
