Tarantino Talks Clerks 2
There is a video up over at the Clerks 2 website of Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez talking about the film right after they screened it with Kevin Smith.
Thanks to Desk and Johnny for sending this in.

It shouldve been called “Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino Like My New Movie and So Should You!”
Was that the lamest promotional set up youve ever seen? Kevin Smith shouldnt need to record those guys saying they like it (they probably dont) to get people to go see his films at this point in his career. coughHACKcough!

I’m not sure if Quentin has loose taste or just tries to be a nice guy, but he seems to like every and anything on a screen. Kevin Smith sounds like a complete fucking moron…

I mean you watch that clip and you know what youd do, youd say “Yeah thats gonna be great man” What else can they say? Even if they hate it, they arent going to diss him on camera. haha.

I thought it was funny how Tarantino did 95% of the talking and Robert just talked about editing it. Smith just said some sentences with the “f word” in them. Haha.

It seems as tho QT is doing this all the time now. you guys are right, it does seem as tho he likes any and everything anymore. but oh well. i still trust him, its just that its getting a little suspicious.

Clerks wasnt a bad film, it was actually good for a super cheap indie. The only problem I have with Clerks 2 is that its a dull idea. Clerks isnt the type of film that really needs a sequel imo. I mean how many more Smith movies do we need with people talking about comic books, sex and Star Wars? Smith really needs to switch things up and get out of the whole widescrackin’ New Jerseyite style films.
