Death Proof Script Review
Over at Script Zone, they have a review of the Death Proof script [via Dark Horizons]:
The basic plot follows a trio of young girls (Jungle Julia, Arlene, and Shanna) as they spend their night bar hopping, going after and teasing boys, and getting trashed. Meanwhile, a muscle car driving stuntman named Mike (Mickey Rouke is rumored to be in the role) with a unique sexual fetish stalks the girls and, ultimately, uses his car to terrorize them.
The reviewer thinks QT is going to have a problem getting the script cut down to an appropriate length for Grind House.

I dont care what the script reviewer thinks. This mini movie is going to be a blast. QT doing a crazy road racin’ thriller with Mickey Rourke? Thats all I need to know. I’m there.

Could be very cool, under QT’s hands, but also sounds sort of lame

I feel redeemed now that Mickey Rourke is finally working with Tarantino…Rourke would have nailed the Bruce Willis role of the boxer in Pulp Fiction…it was too bad he was not cast (but Willis was good in it though)

Sorry Mike……when Pulp was being made, Mickey was too busy picking up his teeth from getting his ass kicked. Bad time for Mickey then, but it is great that he is making a comeback ala Travolta. “Marv” made Sin City.
And just to get it straight, Bruce knocked that role stiff……no one could have played it better.

Quentin is a film god and i have complete trust that this movie (like his others) will be amazing and a must for all movie fans. Plus Rodriguez is a great filmaking aswell.

I’ll point out the problem so you dont have to.
