Ain’t It Cool News has some photos of promo posters for Death Proof and Planet Terror taken at Comic-Con. The Death Proof poster is basically the same thing that we saw previously on the script cover back in April. [Thanks to Brendan for the heads up]

I love those posters! I wosh I had them on my wall!! Check out the peg leg gun Planet Terror poster! I love when RR throws in those cool details. Its like Sex Machine’s crotch gun in FDTD.

Thank God for Comic-Con. Those posters are sweet. They also announced that Kurt Russell is taking over for Mickey Rourke in the Stuntman Mike role. Check it out for yourself…

Awesome news!! Over at AICN they described scenes from Planet Terror (with the RIP Films Logo/Our Feature Presentation fanfare from the old days… Rose McGowan blowing people away with her machine gun leg!…As well as RR’s Grindhouse trailer for They Call Him Machete (Danny Trejo) which sounds insanely cool!
I’m telling you this project is going to kick so much ass!! QT will be shooting his half on film, not digitally…John Carpenter is in talks to do some scoring for Planet Terror…Both films will be full length features (prob 90 min each).
QT will be doing 2 Kill Bill anime prequels as well.
This news really made me happy!
