Speak English Or See GRINDHOUSE Split
Looks like GRINDHOUSE is being split into 2 movies overseas in non-English speaking areas. Here’s a Polish article about it.

This shouldn’t be too big of a surprise considering Kill Bill was split in two. The only difference is that only America gets it as one movie. God bless America. As for everyone else, I feel for you.

I live in Poland and when I saw it i was confused… Great idea is being destroyed by greedy polish distributors. Lucky you living in civilised country.

According to the latest issue of FANGORIA, The US will be getting both films with shorter cuts (missing reels) and the other countries will be getting separate films with the full length cuts.

I live in Ecuador, South America, and I hate this move about splitting the movie. Coming from The Weinstein Company it doesnt surprise me, all the care is about the money. Im a big fan of these two directors (my favorite of course is Tarantino), I have all the dvds too, If I need to pay two tickets im not gonna watch it, guess I am downloading itand then getting the dvd.

First of all. The whole “non-English speaking countries do not
understand the double-bill” IS bullshit. I can tell you, first hand
that it is. I am in my mid-thirties, and I used to live in the city
as a little girl. We had tons of 42nd Street-style movie theaters and
they showed double bills constantly. I used to go to these things
every weekend. I watched Cannibal Holocaust at the age of nine on a
double bill with some other kung-fu film. So as you can see, this is
nothing but a stupid excuse to make more money. Oh, and where I live,
Puerto Rico, our OFFICIAL languages are BOTH English and Spanish. So
none of those excuses apply here. Are you listening, Weinsteins?
