GRINDHOUSE 2 RUMORS
I rather doubt that it’ll happen, but the little bits of info about GRINDHOUSE 2 possibilities continue to float around.
“Robert (Rodriguez) said he’d do it (Machete) and asked for us to be in it,” they explain, “Robert wants to do GRINDHOUSE 2 with (the two films being) “Machete” and “The Babysitter Twins.”

I haven’t seen grindhouse yet, but wouldn’t it be cool to make some kind of series of it? Every grindhouse consists of 2 movies and several faketrailers and the 2 best faketrailers are becoming the next grindhouse movie.

Blech. I’ll take “Machete” any day as a stand-alone spin-off, but if we’re getting a “Grindhouse 2″, it HAS to be “Thanksgiving” and “Don’t”. It’d be the perfect double feature of horror spoofs—one that brings the mindless gore and one that brings the cleverness…both that bring the laughs. I love both of those guys, and I’d love to see them behind “Grindhouse 2.”

If this is true it sounds DAMN GOOD. Machete was a bad ass trailer and I’d love to see it as a film. As for this Babysitter Twins, it sounds extremely sexy. I’d love to see the Babysitter Twins kicking ass and taking names. And Robert Rodriguez is the man to deliver the hard core over the top action and make it extremely sexy and bad ass. The only other thing that would make it even more bad ass is Cowgirls in Sweden delivered by QT.

From watching interviews with Rodriguez and Tarantino i’ve narrowed it down to the 2 films that they will be including in Grindhouse 2 (asuming they do come out with one). I’m 100% positive that Machete will be one of the movies. The second one was a little more difficult to come to a conclusion with. Tarantino states in an interview that Rob Zombie had so much film from “Ware Wolf Weman of the S.S.” that they had enough to make it into a full feature. So if Grindhouse 2 ever comes out, expect the movies to be Machete and Ware Wolf Weman of the S.S.

There is three different Grindhouses they could make. There’s the Machete & Babysitter Twins Grindhouse both from Rodriguez. There’s the Don’t & Thanksgiving Grindhouse from Wright and Roth. And if Tarantino does the Cowgirls In Sweden thing they could have Werewolf Women of the S.S. & Cowgirls In Sweden. An action Grindhouse, a horror Grindhouse, & a sex Grindhouse.

Not interested at all in a Grindhouse 2. We already saw what audiences felt about the idea with the first one. Why would they risk going through that BS all over again?
Grindhouse was a failed experiment. I wished it was #1, but thats just not reality.
Lets go back to just having new films from each director and forget the Grindhouse double feature stuff. If QT and RR want to do Grindhouse genre films, they can do them separately. Its best for all involved.
