I think Quentin is just the guy to remake this Russ Meyer classic. It should be a nice little follow up to Inglorious Bastards.

Why does he not choose a starlet with natural breasts? Gianna Michaels or Brandy Talore come to my mind. Tera Patrick and her plastic breasts don’t seem to fit into a Russ Meyer homage.

Imdb claims her breasts are real. Anyway, as long as the film and the actress can live up to Tura Satana, which is doubtful….

I can’t wait for this remake! Quentin Tarantino is the only working director who could do this cult classic justice.
Casting for this is so important, and Tarantino needs to make sure he selects the female leads carefully. I don’t know too many mainstream actresses who could “fit-the-bra” so to speak, so he should certainly have a look at the adult entertainment industry’s talent pool.
Gianna Michaels (adult actress) has the prototypical Meyer woman body type (Amazonian) and attitude to match. She would be an excellent choice as Varla.
Pamela Anderson (who is an admitted Russ Meyer fan) could play Billie and provide a “marquee name” to help sell the film.
I can see Rosario Dawson doing a good job as Rosie.
Tera Patrick could be good, but I think there are others who would be better.

this movie is obviously going to be badass, some say he should not remake this movie, but i say go ahead and fucking do it. Tarantino could make any movie badass. once he ads his style, intellegent dialogue, and knowledge of film to anything it ultimatly becomes a movie that you will never forget, i am excited for this movie especially because i feel it has a lot of possibilties for Quentin.

Anyone who he selects for this role will have to do a tremendous job to fill Tura Satana’s shoes. But truthfully maybe a handful of people have seen the original. I have because I caught it once on TNT and bought the dvd last year off amazon. But you cant find the movie at walmart, best buy, etc. So like I said most people will think its a original QT creation instead of a remake.
IMO a porn star will kill the role. Mainstream america does not wanna see a porn star in regular movies. It wont happen and it never will. Yes I know some have made small roles here and there. But no porn actress will ever take a leading role in a big budget hollywood movie. Personally its all good to me, but mainstream america will not allow it plain and simple.
Its like wow she was great in that movie now let me check out her anal scenes in tera does NYC. I know it sounds nasty and thats what most of america will think.
