Hate Mail
Thought you might enjoy some of the hate mail I get for having the nerve to run a website about a guy making movies.
I am guessing your website is all about Quentin Tarintino,
I saw ‘Inglorious Basterds’,
was bored by the dialog, and sickened by the violence.
Mr Tarintino seems to take every opportunity to show this..and he should be arrested, or committed to an asylum,
and yet, you dedicate your precious time maintaining a website in in his honor.
In this particular movie it seems that the audience were meant to relate to or support the ‘heros’ regular mutilation and reveling in taking human life.
Do you notice that so often in Quentins movies the ‘good’ guys take some pleasue in revenge, or laugh at someones pain or misfortune ?
This is not what a good soldier, hero, or ordinary person ever does.
Quentin is unintentionally revealing his sadistic nature, he is emotionally defective, an idiot psychotic.
And yet, you pathetic worms, dedicate a website to the morbid, uninspiring tripe that he regularly vomits onto the screen.
You are participating in his self absorbed, violent fantasy.
You disgust me.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
You are the enemies of humanity, worse than Nazis ever were.
So I’m worse than the Nazi’s, but he’s the one advocating that Tarantino be arrested for filming fictional violence. Just can’t make this shit up.

that hate mail letter is so stupid for someone to talk like that about his movie. the comment about the heros of the movie laughing and getting plesure outta the others pain, let me ask who wouldnt do that if they got a nazi in there hands and jus like brad pitt says “nazis aint got no humanity” “they are the foot soilders of a jew hating psyco pathic manic who must be destroyed” but in the movie schindelers list they can make a movie about the nazis jus beating and killing and torturing the jewish people and it be a a great movie to people. after watching that movie all i could think about is wanting to beat a nazi to death with a bat myself cause a nazi aint got no humanity. they had no heart for the jews they killed so why should the heros of this film have any for the nazi.this was a flim made finally with the tables turned on the nazis and we can watch a group of men pay them back for all the lives the nazis have taken for crimes against humanity. so by having said that the only person who should be arrested is the nazi who wrote that hate message.

Awesome movie, awesome website, awesome characters. May have drug it out a little, could have been 2 hours even but oh well. As for that sissy talking trash, there are ALOT of LOSERS in this world, go shoot a deer or something and get over it!! my name on facebook is now Lt. Aldo Raine!

QT did go too far with the collective condemnation and generalizations made against the German side in this film. Saying that any German in a uniform deserved to get scalped or his head smashed in is a bit harsh.
Obviously QT is no history buff and the film has many historical inaccuracies. I think directors like him should be kept away from major issues like WW2. He completely messed up French Holocaust history.
QT is a nerd that has a talent for writing scripts, but he is a nerd that didn’t bother doing research for this film – a lazy nerd. Someone that believes his imagination is all he needs to make a great movie, even if the story is set within an important world event.
Inglourious Basterds could have been much better, with much more social relevance, as well as much more plausible if only QT took a few minutes during the ten years he worked on the script do some research.

I can’t get enough of Tarantino’s work. I think he’s one of the greatest film makers of all time. If you don’t like his movie that’s your problem. Criticize all you want, but going so far as to say he should be put in jail makes you look like the nut job. I can’t wait for the next film because I already know it will be a classic like all the rest. Tarantino, Anderson, Ritchie, and Scorsece are the only directors I know of that consistently create great films. Who else is there?

I would like to take a moment to thank this person for contributing to the success of Tarantino’s films. If they are spending their money to see QT’s films for the purpose of complaining about them, so be it. You don’t have to be a fan, you just have to pay your money. I, for one, have been a fan since seeing Reservoir Dogs in a crappy theater in Florida. I have all of his films except Death Proof (’cause I’m still holding out hope that a theatrical version of Grindhouse will still be released). Keep ‘em coming, QT! Looking forward to the next one!

How can you be bored by the dialog(sic)? I’m fascinated by the dialogue, I love the different accents and the hidden inuendos (i.e, the “milk” reference that comes up a few times in the movie). And violence? Duh..it’s a war movie.

The so called “hate mail” letter has some good points, just poorly and over emotionally stated. I worry more about the hate expressed and the mental health of the people who responded. The movie is replete with gratuitous violence and people who feed off this are, indeed, unhealthy. From what I have read, the majority of responders wouldn’t know the meaning of the word “gratuitous” or “replete” for that matter. If these semi literate people are a sampling of the Tarantino audience, then his so called “genius” quite clearly appeals to the lowest common denominator. Intelligent dialogue, containing words longer than four letters would obviously go over their heads.

I realize this is a MOVIE,but did ANYBODY else happen to notice that Tarantino CHANGED THE ENTIRE ENDING OF OF WWII!!!!!!!
So,just to set the record straight, Hitler DID NOT die in an explosion of a movie theatre in Paris!!!!!!!!
Other than that,I liked it!!!
