Django Unchained Cinematographer Wins Oscar

I didn’t pay much attention to the Oscars this year, but did notice that Robert Richardson won for Best Cinematography (its his 3rd award in that category) for his work on the Martin Scorsese Hugo.
Why do I mention this? Because Robert Richardson is the cinematographer for Django Unchained.

Django Unchained To Film at Evergreen Plantation in Louisiana

Now that filming has completed in both California and Wyoming, Django Unchained is finally moving to Louisiana to film the bulk of the movie.
Just outside New Orleans, the specific location appears to be the Evergreen Plantation.

The Django Unchaoned scenes that Quentin Tarantino wanted to shoot in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming, area has finished filming. They apparently tried to get permission to film amid a herd of elk but it was denied.
