Empire Movies has a group of seven pictures up from Tarantino’s upcoming Kill Bill. Of the group, my favorite is this sword fight shot. The others: 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7.

Contrary to what Entertainment Weekly reported back in January (that Kill Bill would not appear), Tarantino is still trying to get Kill Bill ready in time for the Cannes Film Festival. The Festival runs May 14 to 25.

AICN is all fired up about a fake poster for Kill Bill that came from the Japanese film magazine Eiga Hi-Ho (read:
Portions Of Kill Bill To Be Animated
Mar 28th
I’m guessing that this will end up being incorporated into the film in much the same way that animation was used in Natural Born Killers. Their official website has more information about Production I. G. for those interested.
Japanese Official Kill Bill Site Launched
Mar 8th
The official Japanese site for Kill Bill is now live. Once you get there, mouse clicks and keystrokes make things happen (sword swipes and blood splatter). Plus if you type KILLBILL you’ll get an interesting little title sequence for an ultra-short teaser trailer.
AICN has a bit more info, including some talk of Kill Bill items currently on eBay. The 2 small Japanese posters are of particular interest to me – though I’m not sure I need more blood splatter on my walls than the Reservoir Dogs subway poster currently gracing my wallredirect 301 http:// already provides.

SCi Games announced that its acquired the rights to make Reservoir Dogs into a video game that’ll be released on the PS2 and the XBox. And yes, for those of you who must know, you will be able to cut off the policeman’s ear just like Mr. Blonde did:
SCi promises that gamers will be able to play all the film’s key characters, including Mr Blonde, infamous for torturing a policeman in one of the movie’s most visceral scenes.
Also, here is the original SCi Games press release.
Kill Bill Is 1 Movie Again
Mar 3rd
Straight from the horses mouth – Miramax – the rumor that Kill Bill was to be split up into two different movies is untrue. An October 2003 release date is still planned.
Kill Bill To Be Split Into 2 Movies
Feb 28th
This story seems to be a bit crazy, but its coming from one of the cast (David Carradine) and not some wacko trying to start a rumor – so it may indeed be true:
Quentin Tarantino’s first film in six years, Kill Bill, has taken so long to film and grown so much in scope and length that is likely to become two films, according to one of its stars, David Carradine.
