Both nominations were for Kill Bill Volume 2. Uma Thurman was also nominated last year for her performance in Volume 1.

Kill Bill On Stage?

According to Twitchfilm.com, Tarantino has authorized Takashi Miike to create a stage play based on the twin sister of Go-Go Yubari from Kill Bill v1. Takashi Miike is the guy responsible for Ichi The Killer which is perhaps the most violent film ever made.
…when writing the screenplay for Kill Bill Tarantino originally gave Go Go Yubari a twin sister, a character cut out of the final script for pacing reasons. Tarantino and Miike talked about the character some and the end result was Tarantino giving Miike permission to direct a stage play based on the Yubari twin and the removed section of screenplay.

Amazon has a new Kill Bill product 
with no description and I can’t find anything about it, but its a Kill Bill: An Unofficial Casebook. I assume its either an analysis of the movie, how it was made, and all its connections to the martial arts films that Tarantino mentioned as inspiration, but thats just a guess. They also have a Kill Bill 2005 calander.
Also, I thought I’d just put up some of the Kill Bill DVD product images from Japan. We really seem to get screwed when it comes to the cool cover art. I didn’t include any links since these DVDs aren’t playable on Region 1 DVD players, but you can grab any of these from amazon.co.jp if you really want them.
California Misspelled On DVD Cover

I came across a mistake on the Kill Bill Box set Best Buy gave out with the purchase of Kill Bill 2. I am not sure you know of this yet but there is a mistake on the back cover. Elle Driver’s name is Mispelled. It is spelled on the cover “Cailfornia Mountain Snake”.
So, I went and checked the forum and sure as heck, there’s a picture of the mis-spelling right here.

Found via the Dutch site Inglorious Bastards comes Hanzo Steel – Kill Bill Remixes and a couple of Kill Bill V2 DVD screens. One is below and the other one can be seen here.
Also, there is a Kill Bill(y) skateboard deck.
And finally, somebody did the ultimate – they morphed the old Star Wars Kid video in with some scenes from Kill Bill. Awesome.
Kill Bill V2 DVD Released!

Today is the day 
that the Kill Bill V2 DVD gets released into the wild. Run out and buy 5 copies. Apparently, Best Buy has a deal where you can get a DVD sleeve thingy to hold both V1 and V2 in the same little package if you buy it there.

It sure seems to have taken a long time, but the release of the Kill Bill Volume 2 DVD is only 12 days away.
I’ve also notice some neat-looking boxed sets – one in France, and another in Japan. And then there’s this Popcorn/Zipper dust cover, which to get you actually buy the popcorn, and the cover thing is free.
