Wal-Mart is running a special on the Reservoir Dogs PS2 game where you can get the DVD for free – and the whole bundle is only $9.82
The cover artwork for the Reservoir Dogs PS2 game has been released. I’m glad to see that they stuck with some original poster art and didn’t do something silly with it.
David DVD is reporting that LionsGate is going to release a 15th anniversary edition of Reservoir Dogs on DVD. Considering we already have a 10th anniversary edition, I’m not sure whey they would do this other than if they think that the upcoming Reservoir Dogs video game is going to be introducing the film to a whole new audience and they want a new DVD ready for them.
The Reservoir Dogs video game has been banned from release in Australia.
The Reservoir Dogs game now has an official site. For now, there’s only a UK version and it includes just a short description and 3 screenshots. But I’m sure there will be more to come as the August 2006 release date approaches.
According to Eidos, the videogame will provide players with the opportunity to “fill in the blanks” left open by the original motion picture. Eidos states that the game, a third-person shooter which will stay true to the film’s original plot and chronology, will follow the progress and planning of the ill-fated heist and will answer questions such as “What happened to Mr. Blue and Mr. Brown?”, “Where did Mr. Pink hide the diamonds?”, and “What actually happened at the heist?”
IGN has a couple of images from the game up as well. (thanks to Paul for the heads up on this story)
Chris Penn, who played Nice Guy Eddie in Reservoir Dogs, died at the age of 40 yesterday.
