Site Redesign

As you can probably see, I've started the process of redesigning the look of this website. Nearly everything is complete, but you'll still run into the old design on some of the pages as I continue to try and integrate everything.

If you see anything that looks screwey or that you don't like, please leave a comment to this post about it. Make sure to include what browser you are using if its a rendering issue.

Kill Bill Volume 2 Teaser Trailer

The Japanese teaser trailer for Volume 2 is up at the official Japanese website (where else). There isn't much too this teaser - just The Bride walking thru the desert, reflected in a samauri sword with the phrase "Kill Is Love" hovering in the corner.

Vega Brothers Is A Go - Says Michael Madsen

Just to preface this - this film has been rumored for years, and Madsen seems to be its biggest supporter, so this could just be wishful thinking.

Once upon a time there was going to be a Vega Brothers movie and then as time went by Quentin decided that it was impossible. John and I are like 10 years older and so we couldn't really make a prequel.

How could we make a story about two guys who before they are both killed were 10 years older.

So he told a big crowd of people in San Diego that there wasn't going to be a Vega Brothers movie, but then he went off to Mexico for a couple of days and he called me right when he came back from there to tell me that he had came up with an idea and a concept that would make the characters work and I can't tell you what it is but I can tell you that it is definitely back on his mind and I do think there is going to be a Vega Brothers movie.

Kill Bill 2 In Maxim Movies

Maxim Movies has a good sized article about the 2nd installment of Kill Bill, but only a little bit of it is online. I'll try and pick up the magazine this weekend and get some of the info in it posted here.

Reservoir Dogs Scene Makes Top Horror List

Not suprisingly, its the Mr. Blonde ear slicing scene, made all the more creepy by the use of the Stealers Wheel song 'Stuck in the Middle With You'.

Kill Bill Soundtrack Nominated For Grammy

Not really a suprise considering how popular it is, but the Kill Bill Soundtrack got nominated for a Grammy in the 'Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Video Media' category. I'd say the Chicago Soundtrack is probably the favorite. Here's the other nominees:

Chicago
Gangs of New York
Kill Bill -- Vol. 1
A Mighty Wind
School of Rock

Tarantino Honored By Belvedere Vodka

Last night, at LA celebrity hang-out Bar Marmont, Belvedere Vodka honored Quentin Tarantino with its first ever 'Na Zdrowie' for his work on Kill Bill. In attendance to help toast Quentin were his close friends Eddie Griffin, Robert Forster, Larry Bender and others.
There is a whole host of pictures from the event, but the actual little picture/plaque that they gave Quentin is very cool.

Kill Bill Shop Opened

The official Kill Bill Shop was opened over the last week while I was away on vacation. They don't have the Pussy Wagon keychain up yet, but they do have some alternative posters that I haven't seen anywhere else along with various other gear from the movie.
