Kill Bill V1 DVD Released Today!

The DVD for Volume 1 is officially for sale today! Order it, go buy it, hack your neighbors head off and steal his copy. Whatever you have to do, just go get it. (except that part about your neighbor - don't try that).

Davis DVD also has some insight into the eventual reunited movie on DVD.
Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has some major plans for his latest opus, Kill Bill. While promoting the second volume of the series, opening theatrically on April 16th, Tarantino revealed that he plans to recut both films together for a special theatrical release later in the year. "We did a special version [of Volume 1] for Japan that's only been shown in Japan and Hong Kong, and I kept the rights to that," Tarantino said. "I'll put the Japanese version together [with Volume 2] like I would if it was one complete movie, and then I'll release that throughout America and Europe in arthouse engagements."

Tarantino also promises more extensive DVD plans for the revenge films. "I'm going to do a special collector's edition of both of them once I'm finished with both of them," he said. Also in the talking phase, Tarantino is considering the possibility of releasing stand-alone supplemental discs. "One of the things that I saw that I liked... was what the American Pie guys did with their 'Beneath the Crust' documentaries. I want to do the same thing [for Kill Bill]."

BTW- Am I the only one who messed up the plastic cover a little bit trying to get the dumb seal sticker off? I dug a little hole in it.. It's like it was made with some ultra-weak material. Argh.

Kill Bill is one of the most amazing action and bloody good time of Tarantino's style. A powerful revenge story on how The Bride takes on the Deadly Viper Assassins all by herself to get to Bill. So even though, Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) is dead by a knife through her chest and O-Ren Ishi has a nice flat top where her brains is chopped off and completely dead. You can expect Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah) can be killed either her head chopped off, arms and legs chopped off, chopped in half *torso*, or take her eye out & completely go blind and still live. You can also expect Budd to die as well. But we never know how The Bride manages to kill Bill when the daughter is there next to him. I just hope The Bride has a good final ending and survive the mission when she got this far of killing many people to get to Bill. The DVD is great on how you just watch for 20 or something minutes of Making Kill Bill and Tarantino's trailers. The DVD picture looks perfect and i was wondering why they put that annoying sound on the beginning where Vernita & The Bride cussed in front of the little girl. Anyways, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and True Romance were little too boring but i wouldn't say it was completely horrible movie, i give it a 3-stars meaning it's good or above average. The best Quentin Tarantino's film that i've really inspired me was Kill Bill. Kill Bill blow your mind away with powerful story and a complete action saga mixed with humor and the style of Tarantino's genre. Can't wait until Kill Bill 2 that's coming in 3 more days on April 16th, 2004.

I'll let your dislike for Jackie Brown slide (I didn't like it much either), however to say that Pulp Fiction and True Romance are boring just proves your ignorance "William Park". And while Kill Bill is amazing, Pulp Fiction and True Romance are classics.
