I think QT's a communist.

Nah, I think he's more of an anarchist.
And I definitely believe that piracy of hard-to-find films should be allowed. I mean, even if you do find it, it would probably be secondhand, so money wouldn't be going to the creator anyway

Yeah, because the first guy who bought it already paid for it...

Yeah, It's ok to Pirate hard-to-get movies but if you go out in America and pirate, say, Kill Bill v.1 or some other movie that is very easy to get, your a scumbag. Seriously, ever wonder why this shit cost so much? They have to factor that kinda crap in to the price.
Anyway I think he was pittying China. They are very poor and thier economy is a mess anyway so most people wouldn't be able to get a copy without piracy. He'd rather have them pirate it than have only a small number of people purchase it.

China isn't exactly third world. People have the money to buy the movies, BUT the Chinese government likes to Censor censor censor, and I think its the Censorship that Tarantino is getting at.

The reason Tarantino doesn't mind piracy in china is because piracy is the only way the majority of people can see the film, not because he communist.

Who can blame him for wanting people to see his film?
