I went into a shop in my town (Entertainment Ex) and they had ordered XX number of Kill Bill Japenese Version DVD's into their shop to sell. It cost £29.99 and the main differences are the box art, leaflets inside, some additional footage (about 3 minutes worth) and the black and white seens are in colour. The Jap version is Region 2 which is handy. I live in the UK by the way :] It was worth the extra money.
