Tarantino To Produce 'Hell Ride'
Quentin will be producing a new film called Hell Ride. Hell Ride is a biker movie written by Larry Bishop and starring Michael Madsen - both of whom were in Kill Bill. More info @ Killer Movies.
The story deals with the characters Pistolero (Bishop), the Gent (Madsen) and Comanche (Tarantino) and the deadly unfinished business between them. As befitting the genre, the budget would be low, and the movie would shoot in August or September.
Kill Bill 2 DVD Coming In August
The DVD for Kill Bill 2 DVD is going to be released in August. With that early of a release, I'd guess we'll see a super-combined-with-extras edition before Christmas.

Tarantino Still Talking Up Bond Movie
Regular readers of this site won't be suprised, but Quentin is continuing to push for the opportunity to make Casino Royale into a film. Not shockingly, he also wants to cast Uma as a Bond girl.
Tarantino says his adaptation of Casino Royale would remain very loyal to the original Ian Fleming book.

Bloody Fight At Cannes
A bloody fight broke out at the Kill Bill 2 party at Cannes. The story is tiny and there is no info on who was involved or what the injuries were. Hopefully I can find out more.

Uma, Ugly On Purpose
This isn't something you see everyday - Uma intentionally wore an ugly outfit to the Oscars.
UMA THURMAN says she deliberately set out to be the worst dressed woman on the Oscar red carpet this year. Claiming that she is fed up of the fashion politics associated with awards ceremonies, the Kill Bill star says she knew her Christian Lacroix outfit would hit the wrong note this year. And it did, with one fashion critic accusing her of sporting the "deranged milkmaid" look. But Uma is unabashed. "Everyone always looks the same," she tells The Sun. "It's so boring. That's when you have to say, 'I will be the worst dressed.' I'm glad it was me they panned. I think I deserve it and I can take it."
Tarantino Talks Piracy
Tarantino says that movie piracy is not a black and white issue for him, noting that he had to buy bootleg copies of some hard to get movies in prep for Kill Bill. He also supports piracy in Communist societies like China, which I was glad to see.
Alternate Kill Bill DVD Covers
If you aren't happy with the way your Kill Bill DVD cover looks, you could always go download and print an alternate version. Some are cool, some are crap. I always just find it interesting to see how people tweak the official stuff that studios release. You can also grab alternate covers for previous Tarantino DVDs here.
