I think maybe that Stallone is a good idea. Stallone can act (see Cop Land), and Tarantino always brings out great performances in his actors.

I think Stallone is a good choice. Don't forget its a movie with soldiers...
Willis is a famous actor, i agree with Buddhatang.

As many have said and/or thought, Bruce Willis ( if this rumor is true ) is always a great choice. Buddhatang listed some great films that Bruce Willis has been awesome in. Stalone? Who knows? Although it wouldn't seem likey, this could be a revival for him, so let's just wait nad see.

Yeah, I thought it was confirmed now that Bastards actually wasn't Tarantino's next project? Even so, I definitely support the choice of Willis if it's true, but I'm unsure about Stallone.
You can say that Tarantino's all about career revivals, and getting the best performances out of actors, and look what he did for Travolta, blah blah blah. Well, Travolta wasn't a no-talent hack before he was in Pulp Fiction, like Stallone is (at least I wouldn't say he is). I mean, it's not like I'm the world's biggest Travolta fan, I really only liked him in PF, but he could act before that movie. I'm not so sure about Stallone.

I don't care if he casts Hillary Duff, just so long as there's hope of anything being released by 2010.

I think it would be cool for Stallone to do something gritty that he has no creative control over. It might bring him back to life.
Get Carter was pretty good, not great but not bad. He seemed to have fun in Spykids3, can't really judge his ability on that performance.
He may be the master of overacting though, which is why I liked him in Get Carter, he was subdued. Reigned in.
Willis can do anything he wants at this point.

I hope badly that Sylvester will take the role, because he has a huge potential and Quentin can bring out of him an excelent peformance. Bruce fits also pefectly. Adam has talent too, even though I never liked any of his characters nor his movies; well, Quentin can help him either, I suppose. I'm looking forward to see this movie coming out (as "The Big Kahuna" posted here) before 2010 ;-)

Now that you bring up Adam Sandler... Sure all his best work was in his earlier films ( Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore ) and he has been on the decline with his comedies as of late ( was anybody dissapointed with Anger Management like I was ), but look at his acting in Punch-Drunk Love. Based on that, I say, give the role to him!

I for one don't know when production on either his Mandarin movie or Inglorious Bastards is going to start. Whatever he does first I would think would start filming or at least go into pre-production by the end of this year.

Speaking of Stallone, I just read an article where he talks about hoping to start filming Rambo IV in Septmeber, suggesting a 2006 release date, which is 18 years after Rambo III. So let's see how his acting is as of late in that project.

Stallone wont be a good choice for a Tarantino movie cos the dialogue would be too challangeing for him to say, if you look at the movies in the past hes done (Cliffhanger) he pretty much grunts his way thru the script. Also his career is pretty much over, i saw him on the case of Spy Kids 3D in K Mart! Hmmmm

I agree Stalone's earlier work was not good, he was just lucky to have a good director for the first Rocky however i agree he does have potential, like look at Carradine he had Kungfu and a couple other great movies but i thought he was gone but there he was in Kill Bill tearin it up so i think Stalone a shot

yeah to all you people who are mocking the fact that "this movie may never come out" ...
..you obviously don't know tarantino's work. he would never put out information on a movie and disappoint his fans by not doing anythign with it. he is a great writer- no denying that- and this movie will come out.
...noob tarantino "fans"...
