Grindhouse Casting

There is a possibility that John Jarratt will appear in 'Grind House'. QT has apparently said that Jarratt is his favorite Aussie actor.

Dark Horizons is reporting that Jarratt has already signed for 'Grind House' and may have a role in Inglorious Bastards as well.

Is that Peter Q Kiddle guy for real. (I doubt it but hope he is).

I'm from Australia and know John Jarratt best from the crappy lifestyle show he hosted with his then wife. Having said that I'm very pleased to finally see an Aussie actor doing a big time film that will be worth watching.

Why would Tarantino use system of a down anyways? The music on his soundtracks is much classier than that stuff.
it wouldnt even fit.

Quentin will use whatever the fuck he wants to use in his movies. He has the greatest taste in music. If he wants S.O.A.D he'll use it , if not, who gives a fuck?

Jeff, talking of "The Vega Brothers" my friend has begun writing a short script to "The Vega Brothers." What I've written so far includes, Tony Rockyhorror, Marsellus and the brothers themselves Vic and Vince. If he finishes the script I'll ask for permission to send it to y'all and you can see what a great writer my friend is along with what could be the first Vega Brothers Script of all time...

ummm, well its simple S.O.A.D is too heavy for His films.... He uses kinda 60's and 70's inspired music... just as his movies are reminisent of those decades. Hahaha i cant spell but anyhow yeah thats the reason.. i like S.O.A.D they are cool.

I personally love SOAD, and could easily see myself working their songs into my own films.

I see them working very well with QT on the sense that though he does reuse a lot of techniques, but then again he is always trying something new.

Though like Kitty K said, SOAD doesn't even sound like anything QT would even listen to. Then again he worked with Rza from the Wu-Tang Clan (which he's a big fan of) to work on music for Kill Bill.

I think if Quentin was to use any modern music in his movies it should be NIN....I can listen to just about any NIN song and picture a movie around it....oh wait.....Trent already did the soundtrack for Natural Born Killers.

According to IMDb, only Michael Madsen & Tim Roth are cast, and, according to Wikipedia, QT said only Michael Madsen is the only one signed up. WTF? Anybody read somewhere if Tim Roth is in it for real or if it's just rumor?
