Inglorious Bastards, The 6 Hour Script
Just something else to chew on about Inglorious Bastards. Movies Online has a first hand report that Michael Madsen said the script runs about 6 hours so we are probably looking at another split movie, ala Kill Bill.

Madsen Doing Literacy PSAs
Michael Madsen recorded a literacy public service announcement with Deejay Ra earlier this month. Madsen is apparently going to do some additional educational promo stuff with the recent release of his book: The Complete Poetic Works of Michael Madsen, Vol. I: 1995-2005.
Recordingan exclusive high school and campus radio PSA in addition to planning new educational-themed initiatives for his latest poetry collection and audiobook, Madsen now joins fellow Tarantino alumni Robert Forster and American literary legend Elmore Leonard as a supporter of Juneja's 'Hip-Hop Literacy' campaign, encouraging movie and music themed books to students uninterested in reading as alternative literacy developing methods in the midst of entertainment media's strongest digital age. CSI's Grave Danger Coming To DVD
The Quentin
Tarantino directed 2005 season finale of CSI, Grave Danger, is going to be released on its very own DVD on October 10th.
In addition to the double-episode, the DVD will feature approximately 84 mins of extras including: Pilot episode of CSI and the pilot episode of CSI Miami 'Golden Parachute'.
I'm impressed that this episode has been so well received that it merits its own separate DVD release. I knew QT would do a good job with the show, but its success has long since passed my expectations for how it would be received.

Grind House Details, Plus Bastards Info
Tarantino talks Grind House and Inglorious Bastards, with a tidbit in there about Vega Brothers.
As previously reported, Grind House will be in 2 parts. Robert Rodriguez part is called Planet Terror and Tarantino's section will be Death Proof. Rodriguez film has a zombie theme and Tarantino's is a slasher film, but with a car.
The film will also feature trailers for fictional movies:

The film will also feature trailers for fictional movies:
"That's one of the things we're looking the most forward to, shooting the phony trailers that will play in between the movies. I'm working out my blaxploitation trailer, and possibly a kung-fu trailer, a sexploitation trailer, a spaghetti-western trailer. I just need to kind of work them out a little bit. I'm just getting them down there, but I think for sure I'm going to do the sexploitation trailer, which is called Cowgirls in Sweden. "As for Inglorious Bastards, here's what QT had to say:
...will probably be the next thing I do after I finish Grind House. That will be my next big Mount Everest, climb-the-mountain kind of project.
I've got a big portion of it done. I've been waiting for all the Kill Bill stuff to be over with, and then to maybe chill on it a little bit, and then [get] ready to finish writing it. ... I have like five years of writing behind me now, and I just need to add one more year to it.

Vzyat Tarantino
I don't know what it means yet, but IMDB has some info up about a film called Vzyat Tarantino. It could be legit, or it could be bogus, but here's what its supposedly about:
A few Russian guys are trying to steal a new film buy Quentin Tarantiono, but not only to sell it, but to show the never-before seen film on a wedding of their friends. Certainly a lot of interesting stuff happens to them on their quest for the movie. The film is currently listed as "filming" and has Quentin playing himself in the film.
