I wonder why the Death Proof sheet has no mention of Kurt Russel...?

Theres also another version of that new double feature poster. I think Bloody Disgusting has it posted on their site.

I think the reason behind no Kurt Russell is to give the poster a more B-movie style. Instead of having the big star everyone knows, its promoting lesser known actors.

Cant wait to have that hangin' in my room.

I also noticed Rose McGowan's machine gun is still in her left "stump". But in the trailers and photos it's in the right "stump". But I think that's an on-purpose "mistake" to keep that B-movie feel, like how Kurt Russell doesn't appear in the "Death Proof" portion of the poster.

I think Pete is right, you can't make a B-movie with Kurt Russell in the poster!!!

Pay atention to the H.G.Lewis reference: The Gruesome Twosome returns!! Pretty cool!!

Kinda off topic but did anyone else check out the Kill Bill Diary by David Carradine? It's really fascinating stuff, I can hardly put it down. It has anything and everything you ever wanted to know about the making of Kill Bill.

Yeah, my brother bought that for me for Christmas. I love it. Carradine has a pretty sharp sense of humor.

The poster wasn't supposed to be public yet, so upon request, I've taken it down until it is officially released.

Yes, I did read The Kill Bill Diary, and a fascinating read it was. David Carradine has a very thoughtful literary voice, and his passions seem quite restraint with surpising levels of poignancy. Strangely, I had a recuring feeling of his pensiveness (intended or not) as if I was reading the life story of an amazing, legendary mountain climber who was never able to sumitt the grand Mt Everest. For me this does not take away from the value of the record of some behind the scenes of the Kill Bill production, but adds an amazing insight of a lone paid for hire movie star.

David, the checks in the mail, budd. And thank you for Kwai Chang Caine forever.
