Death Proof Script Review
Over at Script Zone, they have a review of the Death Proof script [via Dark Horizons]:
The basic plot follows a trio of young girls (Jungle Julia, Arlene, and Shanna) as they spend their night bar hopping, going after and teasing boys, and getting trashed. Meanwhile, a muscle car driving stuntman named Mike (Mickey Rouke is rumored to be in the role) with a unique sexual fetish stalks the girls and, ultimately, uses his car to terrorize them. The reviewer thinks QT is going to have a problem getting the script cut down to an appropriate length for Grind House.

Tarantino To Direct Hendrix Biopic!?
UPDATE: As expected, this story is false.
There is a news report that Tarantino will direct a Jimi Hendrix film. There is even a Dragonslayer Films press release announcing QT's involvement (copied below).
I'm highly skeptical of this announcement for lots of reasons, not the least of which is the mention that QT is "currently working in China on Kill Bill 3" in the press release. We know that isn't true - which either means that the person writing the press release is full of shit about the whole project, or just doesn't have a clue about what Quentin is working on and tried to guess.
I'm guessing the whole story is bogus, but I could be wrong.

Thanks to Scott for alerting me to this story.Infamous, music loving director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill 1 & 2, and currently working in China on Kill Bill 3) has signed on to direct Dragonslayer's first major feature, the Jimi Hendrix story. Scripts are currently being worked on, and Tarantino will have full access to Hendrix's music, likeness, and brother Leon to tell the real shocking story. Shooting is scheduled to begin later this year with outdoor shots in Seattle, New York, and London, and interiors in Toronto. Elle Von Lear, Senior Executive producer, has access to over 350 interviews filmed by Emmy Award Winning film maker David Kramer, as well as a large body of live footage of the artist, to be incorporated in the film. The Aleem brothers, twins who performed on all of his three albums at the Electric Lady Studios, and Juma Sutan, are consultants on the film.
Death Proof Script Cover
AICN got their hands on an image of the Death Proof script cover - QT's half of Grind House. I wouldn't be suprised if the final poster ended up similar to this.

Tarantino Diving Into TV?
Is Tarantino developing a television series? He hinted that he'd be interested when he was doing the season finale to CSI last year, and now we've got a report of him, Johnny Knoxville, and Anastasia Brown working on a drama series. According to Brown, they hope to get the idea in front of the networks within 3 months and could have the series on tv midway thru next year's season.
More Grind House Casting Rumors
More Grind House casting rumors. This time we add Woody Harrelson, Emmy Robbin, and Josh Brolin to the supposed cast.
Grind House Pauses
Tarantino.info is reporting that Grind House has shut down production - but from everything I've seen written, it seems more like they are taking a week off. Apparently the not-so-subtle difference between those two has been lost on most people.
UPDATE: This may explain the production stoppage.
